The Background of Danielle

Danielle grew up in Eastern Washington where most of her family still resides. She participated in the Running Start Program and earned her AA degree while still in high school. After attending Gonzaga University, she returned to Kennewick, Washington where she worked for a family law firm as a paralegal. During her two-year tenure there, she discovered her passion for law and justice. This new-found passion is the reason she decided to attend law school.

Finally, she was a member of the Children and Youth Advocacy Clinic (CAYAC) where she assisted homeless and at-risk youth to find stable housing, finding other resources, and providing legal assistance. As a part of CAYAC she also lobbied for and helped implement a bill that provides legal counsel for all youth over the age of five going through the dependency system in two different Washington counties.
