Job Description:

Planning With Purpose, a boutique law firm in Lynnwood, WA, is seeking a full-time, Personal Assistant position. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to perform a variety of administrative tasks that would thrive in a family-oriented atmosphere, can work as a part of a team environment, yet has the integrity to work individually to accomplish strict deadlines.

The Personal Assistant’s duties include supporting the attorney such as assisting with daily office needs, managing his administrative activities, and additional responsibilities such as communicating with clients and other professionals. No law firm experience is necessary, rather, an amazing attitude to learn and perform work that is done with excellence. Come join our firm family!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides the attorney with day-to-day administrative support
  • Communicate with clients and other professionals as directed
  • Track/pay firm expenses
  • Maintain tracking of building and contractor expenses
  • Communicate with, schedule, and pay building maintenance and utilities
  • Provide the attorney with payroll, taxes, and other expense reminders for expenses such as; DOR, Property taxes, Automatic transfers, and Attorney commission reports
  • Administrative Accounting such as scanning/categorizing receipts and firm expenses, and issuing reimbursements as needed
  • Maintain the attorney’s client provision list
  • Track client documents leaving/returning the office as calendared
  • Provide the attorney with the necessary files to be successful in maintaining calendared documents
  • Answer, schedule, and/or return phone calls for professional relationships
  • Manage correspondence, schedule appointments, and send confirmation to professional and/or clients
  • Assist with making and tracking travel arrangements
  • Properly calendar confirmed travel arrangements and review for accuracy and changes, as well as prepare and execute per diems and track firm-related mileage
  • Maintain attorney recording schedule for Legacy and Faith radio show, and assist with calculating anticipated travel and holiday breaks
  • Assist with personal and ministry scheduling
  • Provide administrative support, transportation, and assist with travel arrangements as needed

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED

Must report to office - not a remote job

Must dress professionally, this work is at a law office

Must have reliable transportation

A friendly, positive attitude; with a desire to get to know people

Superb time management skills and communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to take directions well

Works well independently and in a team environment

Working knowledge of office equipment, printers, scanners, etc., and standard Microsoft Office programs

Ability to prioritize tasks

Good written and verbal communication skills

Job Package:

$20 an hour, starting wage.

Paid day off for your birthday, additional paid day off each quarter, equating to an additional week of paid vacation per year

Summer Hours (July & August) schedule adjusts to 4 ten-hour days, allowing for 3-day weekends.

401k with 3% matching
