The Background of Paul H. Grant, JD, LL.M
Paul has an extensive work history that brings a practical and professional approach to his lawyering. His client-focused approach is unique in the industry. The unique balance of work experience coupled with a specialized legal education makes Paul stand out among his profession. Paul practices in estate planning, business law and planning, wealth transfer techniques, and property issues.
Paul worked for United Parcel Service for 12 years. He began his tenure with UPS as a college student and later became a full-time driver — both facilitated by Teamsters 174. His experience in a large corporate environment allows him to appreciate the nature and intricacies of corporate policies and employee relations. Paul also relates to the hard work required to successfully perform within the corporate structure.
After his UPS employment, Paul opened several businesses; one a service company and the other an internet coffeehouse in Seattle, WA. His entrepreneurial spirit exposed him to a plethora of experiences which resound in his personal, hardworking care of each client. Paul is familiar with the dedication, risks, and planning required to run and operate a small business. It is within this framework of experience that allows Paul to fully understand the complexities and responsibilities of business owners without losing focus of the employee's needs and accommodations.
