Paul worked for United Parcel Service for 12 years. He began his tenure with UPS as a college student and later became a full-time driver facilitated by Teamsters 174. His experience in a large corporate environment allows him to appreciate the nature and intricacies of corporate policies and employee relations. Paul also relates to the hard work required to perform within the corporate structure successfully.
After his UPS employment, Paul opened several businesses; a service company and an internet coffeehouse in Lynnwood, WA. His entrepreneurial spirit exposed him to a plethora of experiences that resound in his personal, hardworking care of each client. Paul is familiar with the dedication, risks, and planning required to run and operate a small business. It is within this framework of experience that allows Paul to fully understand the complexities and responsibilities of business owners without losing focus of the employee's needs and accommodations.

Paul has a wonderful wife, Mariana, of over 28 years, and two college-aged daughters, Rebekah and Gabriela. He is active in his church and has served on the non-profit board of CMMI since 1997. Czech Mates Ministries International, CMMI, is a missionary-focused group that provides ESL classes and ministry support to local churches in the Czech Republic. Paul was a basketball referee for local high schools for over 20 years and was a women's community and Div III college referee.
