Background on Sydney Barrett

Originally from Southeast Michigan, Sydney earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Eastern Michigan University. Drawn west by her love of mountainous landscapes, she continued her education at the University of Utah School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.

Having grown up watching thunderstorms roll in alongside her mom, Sydney now embraces the rainy days of the Pacific Northwest, especially with a warm cup of coffee in hand. Known for her gentle nature and genuine compassion, she brings a thoughtful and caring approach to her work and the people around her.

Outside of the office, Sydney enjoys exploring new foods, attending concerts and musicals with her husband, Omar, and spoiling their two cats, Loki and Dandi. Her curiosity and love of learning have inspired an ever-growing collection of hobbies, including playing the cello, embroidery, reading novels, bouldering, and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She is also expanding her language skills by learning Moroccan Darija.
